Textbooks
For students at most colleges and universities, the high cost of purchasing textbooks each semester is an unpleasant surprise. Indiana Tech is different. For all students in undergraduate and master’s degree programs, textbook rental is included in the cost of tuition.
Traditional undergraduate students
Traditional undergraduate students pick up their textbooks from the bookroom in Warrior Fieldhouse (find the Warrior Fieldhouse on the Campus Map) at the beginning of each semester. Based on the courses for which you’ve registered, your books will selected, bagged, and waiting for you to present your student ID at pickup.
At the end of the semester, simply return the books to the bookroom. Damaged books or books that you do not return will be added to your student account.
Evening and weekend students
If you’re a student in the College of Professional Studies taking evening or weekend courses (undergraduate or graduate level) in Fort Wayne or at one of our regional campuses, your textbooks will be shipped to you before the start of each class session.
At the end of the session, simply turn the book in to your instructor on the last night of class. Damaged books or books that are not returned within two weeks after the class ends will be added to your student account.
Online students
If you’re enrolled in online courses (undergraduate or graduate level), your textbooks will be shipped to you before the start of each session. A shipping envelope and postage paid shipping label will be included with the textbook.
At the end of session, simply use the envelope and label to return the book to the university. Damaged books or books that are not returned within two weeks after the class ends will be added to your student account.
