Bio
Professor Phlipot’s background includes extensive experience in orthopedic medical device design and marketing. He has cultivated strong relationships with several medical device manufacturers in the “Orthopaedic Capital of the World,” Warsaw, Indiana. He brings much industry experience to the program and incorporates it into the class lectures and projects. His use of project-based learning (PBL) fully engages students in their learning; it improves their ability to work in a team and it helps them refine their critical thinking skills. The primary focus of this program is to develop students into career-ready engineers.
