Adult & Online Scholarships

Indiana Tech offers a wide variety of scholarships, many of which have been established by our generous alumni. Most of them require no additional application forms – just apply for admission and file your Free Application for Federal Student Aid. There are also many outside scholarships available to students. Here are several that you should know about.

Institutional Scholarships

  • Merit Scholarship for Undergraduate Transfer Students: Students at one of the community colleges with whom we partner may be eligible for the Merit Scholarship for Transfer Students. The scholarship is open to associate degree graduates of those institutions with a GPA of 2.5 or higher. The merit scholarship is applied towards undergraduate tuition.   • Military Scholarship: All active, guard, and reserve military members are eligible to receive the Indiana Tech Military Scholarship. This tuition restricted scholarship is also granted to spouses of active, guard, and reserve military. The military scholarship will not be available if tuition is covered 100% by the military or veteran benefit.  To learn more about the Indiana Tech Military Scholarship, email military@indianatech.edu.

Hispanic College Fund Scholarship Program

Applications are currently available for multiple scholarships under the Hispanic College Fund Scholarship Program. Applicants for these scholarships must: be Hispanic, maintain a 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale), be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, currently reside in the United States or Puerto Rico, be a current or rising undergraduate attending a college or university in the fall in either the United States or Puerto Rico, and demonstrate financial need.

Scholarship programs, as well as the applications, can be found on the Hispanic College Fund website. Application receipt dates vary by scholarship.

Hispanic Leadership Coalition of Northeast Indiana Scholarship

The Hispanic Leadership Coalition of Northeast Indiana will be awarding $1,000 scholarships to high achieving Hispanic students from Northeast Indiana.

Indiana Women in Public Finance Scholarship

In support of its mission, the Indiana Women in Public Finance awards up to two $1,000 scholarships to a female college student with a Junior or Senior status by the fall of 2014 majoring in any of the following areas: finance, public finance, law, government accounting, public policy and public management, or any other closely related field.

The applicant must be a permanent resident of Indiana and provide a college transcript, a letter of recommendation by the student’s academic advisor, department chair, or faculty member with which the student completed coursework, the completed application form and essays.

Indiana Women’s Education Foundation

The Indiana Women’s Education Foundation/IWEF hosts multiple scholarships for individuals with need.

Questa Contemporary Scholars/Women in Business Programs

Questa Education Foundation assists individuals attain further education beyond high school graduating with less debt, and become contributing members of Northeast Indiana’s workforce. This loan program features generous forgiveness of up to 75% for meeting certain requirements.

Society of Mechanical Engineers Education Foundation

Students pursuing two-year, four-year or graduate degrees in manufacturing or engineering are eligible for SME Education Foundation scholarships.

Wells County Foundation Scholarships

The Wells County Foundation offers scholarships for residents of Wells County and a few for Adams County.
