Federal Grants
Grants are financial aid awards that never have to be repaid. These types of funds are usually given to students who demonstrate financial need based on the results of their Free Application of Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Some grants are awarded on a first-come-first-served basis so make sure you file early.

- A completed FAFSA is required to apply for these funds.
- Undergraduate students pursuing their first bachelor’s degree may be eligible for Pell Grant funds. Students may receive Pell Grant funds for up to the equivalent of six (6) academic years.
- Graduate and Ph.D. students, as well as students pursuing their second bachelor’s degree, are not eligible for these funds.
