Summer Camps
This week-long day camp is an engaging, hands-on experience for middle school students to explore science, engineering, math and technology—in a fun and memorable way. Participants will conduct experiments; design, construct and test structures; use computer-aided drawing software; and explore labs on campus. They will learn from and work alongside knowledgeable and experienced professors, and experience all that Indiana Tech’s beautiful campus has to offer. Cost includes all project materials, snacks, an adult-sized t-shirt and all camp activities.
This week-long day camp is designed to spark curiosity and cultivate innovation as participants explore creativity in “work.” Middle-school students will learn new skills through activities like photography, creative writing, and graphic design. The camp will be facilitated by Indiana Tech faculty and industry professionals who work in the Fort Wayne community. Cost includes all project materials, snacks, and lunches on campus as well as an adult-sized t-shirt.
Through in-depth teaching and hands-on application, middle school students are immersed in a cyberspace experience designed to introduce them to exciting career opportunities in cybersecurity. They will be trained on cybersecurity-related operations throughout the week-long day camp. The experience will culminate on Friday when participants protect and defend their network and systems during a simulated cyber event. Cost includes all project materials, snacks and meals on campus, an adult-sized t-shirt and all camp activities.
This residential, week-long learning experience is designed to give high school students a hands-on introduction to engineering, computer science, biology and technology—in a fun and memorable way. Focusing on the health of our neighborhoods, the Investigative Science Camp is a week-long day camp where high school students use multiple disciplines and diverse approaches to address wellness where we live. Each participant will work in three career paths each day that focus on three content threads: Nutrition, Mental Healthvand Healthy Communities. Campers will learn from and work alongside knowledgeable and experienced professors.
