How You Can Make a Difference
Every gift matters. We know you have many options and choices when it comes to the dollars you invest in our community. We value your contribution and view our donors as partners in building a stronger Indiana Tech. It’s easy to give or make a donation that meets your desired outcome by putting your gift to work in any of our Indiana Tech Funds, multiplying the impact of gift dollars by pooling them with other gifts. Your support is vital to sustaining and improving the quality of education at Indiana Tech.
Annual Fund
The Annual Fund is the foundation of all giving and growth. Giving through the Annual Fund provides immediate support that affects virtually every area of the Indiana Tech experience.
This fund is the bridge between what the university earns in tuition and fee income and what is needed to fund the operating budget. You may not realize that tuition and fees alone do not cover the expenses of daily operation of our campuses. Your gifts help support the basics of operating our university in the following ways:
- Providing financial aid for deserving students
- Helping improve labs and updating technology
- Assisting with attracting and keeping quality faculty
- Enhancing academic and student life
- Advancing our mission of providing career-focused education
- Supporting our areas of greatest need
Arts Advancement
Multi-Flex Theater, Amphitheater, and the Franco D’Agostino Art Gallery are just a few places where donations for arts advancement have an impact. As we continue to enhance the arts at Indiana Tech, we seek support for:
- Student performances
- Endowments to bring to campus world-class artists, performers, musicians and speakers
- Permanent and temporary art collections in the Franco D’Agostino Art Gallery and throughout campus
To learn more about endowing the arts, please contact Dan Grigg, Vice President for Institutional Advancement at dggrigg@indianatech.edu or 260.422.5561, ext. 2440.
Athletics Advancement
Athletics is a part of the Indiana Tech tradition. As we continue to rise to the challenge to support and grow athletics, we seek support for:
- Facilities and equipment
- Sports medicine support
- Uniforms
- Team travel
Corporate and Foundation Relations
The Office of Institutional Advancement serves as the University’s gateway between academic innovation and philanthropic organizations. We strive to advance the academic, research, and institutional goals of the University through lasting, mutually beneficial partnerships.
We believe that by building relationships with corporations and foundations, partnerships are formed that provide benefits for both, including opportunities for collaboration, technology transfer, and innovative solutions through interdisciplinary research and application.
Partnership with the Indiana Tech provides organizations with the opportunity to:
- Strengthen ties with a community undergraduate teaching institution.
- Support and access innovative, interdisciplinary research.
- Contribute to the community and enhance brand profile.
- Secure a prominent role in attracting Indiana Tech’s talented and diverse graduates to the workforce.
