Costs & Aid
Indiana Tech offers a quality education at an affordable cost. Many students choose to apply for financial aid to help with these costs. Our financial aid office will provide you with all of the tools you need to make an informed decision regarding funding options for your education.
Tuition & Fees
Because our programs follow a 6-week schedule, tuition is charged per course (typically 3 credits each) rather than per semester. The basic tuition rates, which include textbook rental, are:
Program Type | Per Credit* | Per 3-Credit Course* |

Undergraduate | $399 | $1,197 |
Engineering Undergraduate | $426 | $1,278 |
Graduate | $535 | $1,605 |
Engineering Graduate | $579 | $1,737 |
*The tuition rates above are valid July 1, 2023, through June 30, 20224

Financial Aid
Financial aid generally falls into two categories: gifts or self-help.
- Gifts are scholarships and grants given to you, which you do not need to repay. These may come from federal funds, state funds, Indiana Tech, or private sources.
- Self-help includes loans through the Federal Direct Student Loan program as well as private lenders.
The first step in applying for financial aid is completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. When you apply for aid, please remember to include Indiana Tech as a college choice by using our OE code number, 001805.
