Indiana Tech’s College of Business receives accreditation from IACBE
May 19, 2017Indiana Tech’s College of Business learned last week it has earned accreditation from the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE). It is the first time Indiana Tech’s College of Business has earned this distinction from the IACBE.
“Receiving this honor is very gratifying for our university,” said Indiana Tech Vice President for Academic Affairs John Shannon. “We have quality, dedicated faculty and student-focused staff who are committed to equipping our students with business education that is innovative, current and career-focused. I congratulate everyone in our College of Business for helping make this happen.
Indiana Tech’s College of Business offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees at the main Tech campus in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the university’s 13 regional sites and online. Its College of Business features degrees in accounting, business administration (including concentrations in business communications, entrepreneurial studies, financial services, health care administration, human resources, management, management information systems, marketing, production management and sports management), fashion marketing and management, and organizational leadership. The college’s graduate degree offerings include Masters of Business Administration in accounting, health care management, human resources, management and marketing, and Masters of Science in management and organizational leadership. Indiana Tech also offers a Ph.D. in global leadership.
The IACBE was founded in 1997 and is nationally recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). It is the leader in mission-driven and outcomes-based programmatic accreditation in business and management education for student-centered colleges, universities, and other higher education institutions throughout the world.
