Indiana Tech Partners with Heartland Payment Systems on Bachelor’s Degree Program
May 8, 2014Fort Wayne, Ind. –Indiana Tech has formed a partnership with Heartland Payment Systems that will allow Heartland employees to earn a bachelor’s degree in business administration on-site at the Heartland Service Center in Jeffersonville, Ind.
The partnership is part of Heartland University, a program developed to enable employees to pursue a college education in a convenient format. The Indiana Tech degree program will be offered through the College of Professional Studies, which provides programs in a format designed to accommodate adult students who also have to balance work, family, and community responsibilities.
Benefits of the College of Professional Studies program format include:
- Classroom-based courses that are just five weeks long and meet one evening per week
- Online courses that also span just five weeks but allow students to access materials and complete coursework anytime, anywhere with broadband Internet access
- The flexibility of combining online and classroom-based courses as needed
- Textbook rental included in the cost of tuition, with books shipped to students prior to the start of each class
