Resources for New Students
Indiana Tech Warriors are part of a unique blend of distinctive academic programs, bright students, dedicated faculty and staff, and vibrant campus life. At Indiana Tech, you’ll receive the personalized attention and support you need to succeed—academically and personally. We realize, however, the transition from high school to college can still be a bit overwhelming.
Business Office
The Business Office is where new students can obtain billing paperwork, cash personal checks, make tuition/fee payments, purchase meal cards and postage stamps and use fax services. The helpful staff can assist you in receiving your tuition refund, providing information about BankMobile Disbursements and locating your 1098-T tax form.
Financial Aid Office
Students and families often ask, “how much will this cost?” and “can we afford it?” The Financial Aid Office serves students and families by answering these questions and providing additional information about student loans, scholarships and other types of financial assistance. In talking with our financial aid staff, you’ll find that private universities aren’t necessarily more expensive—most families find Indiana Tech to be an affordable option.
Motor Vehicle Registration
Sometimes new students find it easier to have their car on campus. For that reason, on-campus parking is available for residential and commuter students. Parking permits are assigned to corresponding lots, and parking regulations are strictly enforced Monday through Friday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
University Registrar
The University Registrar is the university record keeper. Here, students can finalize advance standing credit—such as AP, IB, dual-credit or PLTW courses—and receive their grades, class schedules, transcripts, clearance for graduation and other academic records.
Office of Student Success
As a student at Indiana Tech, you will have advisors behind you to support you and help you throughout your time at Tech. The Student Success Advisors are available to help with course scheduling, degree mapping, and much more. If you are a student with a learning disability or will need help adjusting to the academic demands of college life, we also encourage you to contact Office of Student Success to learn about how they can help you with your transition to college life.
