Mechanical engineering technology coursework will give you a broad understanding of manufacturing processes, automation and the application of design principles. It will also acclimate you with the tools and equipment commonly used in the field. Topics will include mechanical instrumentation and controls; machining; fluid mechanics and hydraulics; applied kinematics and dynamics of machinery; applied thermodynamics and heat transfer; and computer integrated manufactruing.

As a graduate, you will be able to solve technical problems in research and development, manufacturing, sales, construction, inspection and maintenance in working with a wide variety of tools, engines and machines.
