Talwar College of Engineering and Computer SciencesBecome a Leader in the Essential Field of Cybersecurity
Organizations in every industry are seeking experts to secure their operations in a world of increasing risks and threats. Indiana Tech’s Master of Science in Cybersecurity positions students to become leaders in this essential field.
Students in the Indiana Tech program will gain advanced skills in areas such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) in cybersecurity, biometric authentication, software security and network defense technologies. At the same time, they will develop as leaders in the field through coursework in project management, risk management, disaster planning and recovery and cybersecurity law and policy. The result: students complete the program armed to lead the planning, implementation and management of high-level cybersecurity operations in any industry.
The M.S. in Cybersecurity is a 10-course, 30-credit hour program that provides students the flexibility to choose electives that will focus their work on areas such as AI in Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Risk Management and Policies, and Digital Forensics and Cloud Security. Core courses for all students in the program include Software Security, Ethical Hacking, Identity and Access Management, and Project Management.
You can enter this program with confidence, knowing you are learning from a leader in cybersecurity education. In January 2023, Indiana Tech was designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD). The CAE-CD designation is awarded to institutions meeting the newest standards of cybersecurity from National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS)—co-sponsors of a program created to develop skilled cybersecurity professionals across a variety of government agencies at federal, state and local levels.
