Indiana Tech’s TWIST golf outing turns 30 this year
July 29, 2019Let’s TWIST again, like we did last September! Reserve your spot or secure your foursome at twist2019.eventbrite.com.
TWIST is an Indiana Tech tradition started by former professor Walter Trask and current professor Dr. Jeffrey Walls. The outing began as a networking event to teach students about the game of golf as well as the business exchange that often happens on the course. Over the years, the tournament has grown significantly. The event aims to involve faculty, staff, alumni, community leaders and, of course, students in a relaxed game of golf. Proceeds from this event benefit the Moore/Trask Scholarship, the Indiana Tech golf team and the Alumni Scholarship Award.
If you’re interested in sponsoring the event or making it possible for a student to play at no cost, contact Tracy Smith, associate vice president for Institutional Advancement, at.260.399.2833, or TESmith@IndianaTech.edu.
