Services for Veterans

Warrior Veterans Organization (WVO) is a student organization that provides support to veterans and service-members inside and outside of school.

“The Warrior Veterans Organization wants to welcome all veterans to Indiana Tech. We were formed to connect veterans with one another and make sure that no one is left behind or feels alone. We look forward to helping veterans out in any way we can. Thanks for your interest in Indiana Tech, and we are looking forward to you strengthening our organization.”

Warrior Veterans Organization is a chapter member of Student Veterans of America (SVA). You can visit the SVA website to learn more about what they do on the national level, including advocacy for the GI Bill. We also encourage you to contact WVO at

MIL 1000

In cooperation with WVO, the university also maintains a special Blackboard area for current students called MIL 1000. In this area, we provide links and information for everything from on-campus resources to third-party scholarship opportunities to job-searching and home-buying tools. It’s also a forum for students to discuss veteran-related issues and share useful information.

Both the WVO and our Blackboard area for veterans are valuable assets in helping Indiana Tech student veterans succeed, but we also have knowledgeable and experienced staff to provide individualized service.
