Academic Progress
The U.S. Department of Education requires that students receiving financial aid make satisfactory academic progress toward their degree. This law was implemented to ensure that students who receive federal financial aid are making measurable progress toward their degrees, within a reasonable amount of time. Indiana Tech has established guidelines for satisfactory academic progress and will recognize them in compliance with the U.S. Department of Education’s regulations.
As a student, you should become aware of these guidelines. You will be expected to follow these guidelines while attending Indiana Tech. Failure to do so can significantly impact your ability to receive federal, state, and institutional financial aid funds.
