AboutThe L.E.A.D. (Leadership. Engagement. Action. Diversity.) Summit is an opportunity for emerging and established leaders in the Allen County area to participate in professional development workshops centered around the concept of knowledge sharing. The theme of this year’s L.E.A.D. Summit is: The Power of Intentionality in Leadership. When one practices intentionality in leadership, he or she maintains focus on a goal or initiative that is connected to a higher purpose and meaning for the enterprise. People who work for an intentional leader view that person as deliberate in their actions and decision-making. There is clarity in this leader’s planning. Everyone knows what they are doing and why.Attendees will have an opportunity to gather in an intimate setting and cultivate deeper partnerships with each other while developing and enhancing skill sets that enrich and advance their impact on organizational culture.
FormatThe L.E.A.D. Summit is a one-day conference which includes a variety of concurrent sessions, cross-disciplinary networking opportunities and two keynote speakers. With facilitators drawn from corporate, academia, non-profit, athletics and health care, attendees will cultivate a deeper understanding of how to lead with intentionality. Participants can create their personalized schedule by choosing from various concurrent sessions which best suit their capacity to grow.
