Arianna Cooper – Reflection 2

We visited Door of Hope, where I helped paint a bedroom. I really enjoyed myself and the people who ran the house was very generous and nice. What struck me most was when I found out that St Jude’s Hospital donate their linens and snacks to the Door of Hope instead of throwing them away.
Then we visited University of Memphis which was an eye opener because I saw active student leadership. It reminded me of the value students can bring to a university and why our opinions matter.
All in all, this trip was really a life changing experience. Even though, today was the last day it’s the beginning of a new trajectory in my life and Indiana Tech’s culture. I am happy I came and I hope to use the resources that I have to make our university the best it can be.
