The fashion marketing and management program gives students comprehensive, industry-relevant knowledge based on theory and best practices in the fashion industry. Professors with extensive real-world experience in the field understand that a strong knowledge and aptitude for communications and traditional marketing underlies this degree. Students gain experience in meeting deadlines, portfolio-building, computer skills, business principles, workplace psychology, and more.

Business and Marketing with a Creative Twist

With a focus on fashion, students have a fun, creative lens through which to study the marketing industry. Graduates are equipped with proficiencies in fashion history, color and design courses, trend analysis, global fashion, and much more.

All students majoring in fashion marketing and management complete a 360-hour internship. This allows them to gain meaningful work experience in supervised and approved fashion intern­ships. Internships may be at local, regional, or international fashion businesses. Study tours to Chicago and New York City provide opportunities to contact potential employers for internships and identify traditional and emerging careers in the fashion industry.
